Many providers, one merchant integration
Provider-specific rules were contained behind a consistent platform interface so merchants did not need to rebuild their checkout for every market.
Client delivery case study
AtlasPay connects more than 50 payment methods across 18 countries. SET Innovation contributed senior architecture and hands-on implementation to the platform behind that operating scale.
Case study reviewed September 2026

Merchants needed one integration for many local payment methods, without forcing every payment provider into the same technical shape.
The platform also had to give operations teams a clear view of payment status, reporting and settlements while handling sustained transaction volume.
Contribution made explicit
Aurel “Simi” Simion led architecture decisions and worked directly on implementation.
SET Innovation’s contribution covered the platform structure, payment integration patterns, merchant-facing capabilities and the production concerns created by high-volume financial workflows. This was client delivery work, not a company-owned product.
The useful architecture was the one that kept differences visible where they mattered and reduced them where merchants needed consistency.
Provider-specific rules were contained behind a consistent platform interface so merchants did not need to rebuild their checkout for every market.
The merchant layer supported different payment options and presentation needs without turning each new setup into a separate product.
Payment status, reporting and settlement flows were treated as core product behaviour, not administrative work to add after launch.
