Custom software development

Build a product that can grow beyond the first release.

We turn a business requirement into a working SaaS, FinTech or operational product. Aurel “Simi” Simion leads the architecture and works directly on implementation, with collaborators added when the scope needs more capacity.

Discuss your product

A good fit

When this service fits

  • You are moving from an idea or prototype to a product people will depend on.
  • Your business needs software that does not fit a standard off-the-shelf tool.
  • You want senior technical leadership without separating architecture from delivery.

What the work can include

The exact scope depends on the product and the team already in place. Typical work covers:

01

Requirements and scope

Clarify the users, business rules, integrations, constraints and smallest useful release.

02

Architecture

Choose a structure that matches the expected load, operating budget and the team that will maintain it.

03

Implementation and launch

Build the agreed product, test the important paths and prepare a controlled release.

04

Handover and support

Document decisions, transfer practical knowledge and agree whether ongoing architecture or delivery support is useful.

How we approach a new product

  1. 1

    Understand the business

We start with what the product must achieve, not a preferred technology list.

  2. 2

    Define the first safe scope

We identify assumptions, dependencies and the smallest release that can create useful evidence.

  3. 3

    Build in visible stages

Working increments make decisions easier to inspect before more time and budget are committed.

  4. 4

    Launch and learn

Production behaviour informs the next priorities, support needs and sensible improvements.

Relevant delivery evidence

These examples show operating scale and the type of decisions involved. Platform numbers describe the systems, not a promise that every new product will reach the same volume.

AtlasPay payment platform

Architecture and hands-on implementation for a payment platform connecting more than 50 payment methods across 18 countries.

  • 4M+ transactions per day at the operating scale reported for the platform
  • Payments, settlements, reporting and merchant controls

Topchecks financial platform

A financial verification and reporting product designed around large company datasets, frequent checks and understandable risk information.

  • 3M+ company records
  • Sub-second reporting at the documented platform scale

Clear boundaries from the start

A useful proposal should say what is known, what still needs discovery and what evidence will change the plan.

  • We do not promise a fixed outcome before the important product and integration risks are understood.
  • Ownership, licensing, hosting and handover terms are recorded in the project agreement rather than assumed.
  • If you already have a technical team, the work can be divided around its strengths instead of replacing it.
  • Ongoing support is an option to scope, not a condition hidden inside the build.

Questions founders usually ask

Can you work with our existing team?

Yes. Simi can lead architecture and selected implementation work while your team owns other parts. Responsibilities are made explicit during scoping.

How is scope agreed?

We document the business goal, included work, assumptions, dependencies and decision points. Unknowns that need discovery are identified before they become silent promises.

Who owns the code?

Ownership and any third-party licensing are defined in the project agreement. The technical handover is planned alongside delivery rather than left until the final week.

Do you stay after launch?

When useful, ongoing delivery or architecture support can be scoped separately. Some teams need a handover, while others want continued senior involvement.

Do we need to choose the technology first?

No. Technology follows the product constraints, existing team, integrations, operating cost and expected life of the system.

Tell us what you want to build.

A short first conversation is enough to establish the product, current evidence and the next sensible step.
